Shelving desk and bench, Shelf desk is a piece of furniture for children that can be used as a desk or a shelf. When you sit on the chair, you can use it like a study desk for drawing or studying, and when you sit on the floor, you can play with books and toys from the shelves.

Furniture made of Japanese cedar wood (CLT).

We created furniture that can be used like a desk or as a shelf for storage.
The lower part can be used as a shelf with two shelves of 30cm height, and the upper top board has a depth of 45cm and can be used as a study desk or a small counter.
Even in a simple space, placing a large piece of wooden furniture can greatly change the atmosphere of the space.
The wooden boards are joined to each other with special hardware, and can be easily assembled and disassembled with a single hexagonal wrench. The specifications allow for inexpensive delivery within the normal delivery range, not as a large furniture delivery service, so you can easily move and deliver the furniture.

CLT for effective use of domestic forest resources

Cedar was originally not used for furniture because of its softness despite its large flaws, but the strength of cedar is stabilized by layering and gluing thin sheets so that the fiber direction is perpendicular to each other layer by layer. By making furniture using CLT lumber, we are contributing to the protection of Japan’s forests and forestry industry.
CLT lumber is made from domestic Japanese cedar and Japanese cypress.
These materials are mainly used as building materials, but with approximately 70% of Japan’s self-sufficiency in lumber said to be imported, it is expected that the percentage of domestic lumber will increase and that domestic lumber will be utilized in the future.

The height of the top board is the height of a normal desk, which can be used as a desk by sitting on a chair. The height of the shelf is 30cm, which can hold A4 books and notebooks.
