A couple, their child, and three cats. The existing dwelling, composed of individual rooms and a veranda, was reconfigured into a single large open-plan space (living-dining-kitchen) and a bedroom.
The key element of this project is the large kitchen integrated with storage. Positioning this volume at the heart of the space creates a “cosy focal point” within the expansive LDK. Furthermore, considering cohabitation with pets, catwalks and dedicated cat litter trays were meticulously coordinated to avoid becoming visual distractions within the interior.
This renovation exemplifies optimising for contemporary lifestyles while preserving the existing structural framework.
